As well as VW T4 and T5, this pod can also be fitted to Volkswagen Type 2 or T25, Mazda Bongo, Transit, Mercedes Vito etc fitted with the relevant gas vent.
Basic unit of standard size, with doors and appliance apertures according to your specs, is included in the price.
Pictured with fridge opening on the smaller side to allow for access to the fridge when the rear bed is out on a full width 3 seater seat/bed system.
Dimensions of unit pictured: 720mm high x 1215mm long x 420mm depth, for the VW T4 or T5,
Designed to fit a camper fitted with a RIB rear seat/bed or equivalent, bolted to the floor behind the driver's and passenger seats.
For fitting the unit along the length of the van, the dimensions can be adjusted so that the fridge opens along the longer side of the unit.
Appliance apertures and size can be specified for the appliances you are fitting.
- Constructed of leisure grade Vöhringer ply for a professional finish and available in a choice of trims.

At Freebird Conversionswe have converted vans to many different customer specifications, varying content, finishes and trim, and we have found this small kitchen pod to be both economical and an efficient use of space, especially for customers fitting the full width rear seat/bed for additional crash tested seating.
This is also very popular for fitting along the length of the van, between the driver’s seat and the rear seat/bed, opposite the sliding door – just move the fridge to the front of the unit.
